Post - YPN - Yahoo! Publisher Network

What do you think about this? I love it...it is like Adsense...but it isn't available worldwide...only in the US...and this has been for quite some time now which is very annoying aka frustrating...hopefully Yahoo will accept international users...it would help them make a lot more money as well...

I live in Canada, so the Yahoo publisher network isn't availible where I live yet, unfortunately. It's like bidvertiser and adsense.

I've been using Adsense since it was launch, but I wouldn't mind trying YPN as well..
But it's, as you say, still only available in the US so I guess I'll have to wait as well..

Heard mixed reviews of it.
It was pretty good when it was launched, for some it was much better than Adsense, but the earnings seemed to drop after a while..

Right now they are rejecting even US users. Yahoo still considers it a beta with bugs to be worked out.

Yeah, for sure...they should go international with it.
I wonder if I would be allowed to have Google adsense & Yahoo on the same website...to be more precise, on the same webpage.

No..
Google may allow you to use contextual ads on the same page as Adsense ads as long as they don't have the same "look and feel" and can't be confused with Google Ads

But Yahoo doesn't allow you to display Adsense on the same page as YPN ads...

Interesting. I knew that Google allows contextual ads on the same page but didn't realized that Yahoo! didn't. Thanks for the head-up Hal.

I think they are rejecting sites that are under a certain number of hits per day, actually. They will be taking everyone and their brother once some heavy hitters bring in traffic for the program I bet.
